Beverley Callard – Liz McDonald In Coronation Street

Starting an acting career at age seven is pretty rare in the film industry, but that didn’t keep Beverly Callard from soaring higher after she debuted on Darius that young. Eventually, she continued filming and appeared on several theatre stages in the early 70s until she made her television debut with Emmerdale Farm in 1983.

In the early 80s, she got a gig from Coronation Street to play June Dewhurst and later left the show for personal reasons. In 1989, Callard returned to the show with a role, Liz McDonald that finally gave her the fame today.
