Sophie Raworth – £280K
Sophie Raworth is another BBC star who’s certainly earned her stripes. She joined the BBC in 1992 as a news reporter for Greater Manchester Radio. Then two years later, she was employed as the BBC Regions correspondent in Brussels. Eventually, in 1997, she moved to national television, presenting “Breakfast News” alongside Justin Webb.
Since then, Raworth has acquired a reputation as BBC’s go-to-girl for major events coverage. For example, she provided coverage for the “Queen’s Golden Jubilee” and can usually be found presenting on Election Night. For all her hard work, Raworth earned £280K in 2021. And in 2022, she was a presenter on BBC’s “Sunday Morning.”
