Neil Patrick Harris, David Burkta & Kids – Original Halloween Characters

For Halloween in 2013, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka proved once again why they’re one of Hollywood’s favorite couples. Neil, best known for his legendary portrayal of Barney Stinson in “How I Met Your Mother,” took a break from his usual suit and tie and transformed into Frankenstein’s monster.

From the makeup to the attire and his demeanor, Neil was the embodiment of Mary Shelley’s haunting creation. Meanwhile, David took on the regal and eerie persona of ‘Count Dracula,’ Bram Stoker’s famous vampire. The pair let us know how skilled they are at channeling classic horror characters, and their kids added a nice, homey touch.
