Sharon Tate – 26 – Murdered

Sharon Tate’s acting career was just getting started when she was murdered at age 26 in 1969. The actress, who had appeared in the campy hit Valley of the Dolls, was married to director Roman Polanski and was entertaining friends at their deluxe house in Los Angeles when followers of cult leader Charles Manson broke in. Manson’s so-called “family” stabbed the pregnant Tate to death, along with four others. Reportedly, she had a net worth of $1 million.
