Andy Griffith – 86 – Heart Attack

Andy Griffith was massively known as a multitalented person. He was an actor, comedian, television producer and even a gospel singer Known for his characters with a folksy-friendly personality and his distinctive voice, Griffith was nominated twice for a Tony award. He saw his breakthrough for his television roles, as Andy Taylor in the sitcom The Andy Griffith Show and Ben Matlock in Matlock. Griffith, sadly, died on July 2012, from a heart attack at the age of 86 at his home in Manteo,North Carolina. He was buried in the Griffith family cemetery on the island within a few hours of his death.
