Tifanny Thiessen found herself battling with weight gain after welcoming her first child in 2010. She knew that she had to adopt some lifestyle changes to drop the weight and finally she found success when she changed her eating habits combined with working out.
In 2012, Thiessen shed off an impressive 45 pounds, and keeping the mindful eating habits helped keep the weight off after her second pregnancy in 2015. She told People that she balances her meals but she leans more towards consuming enough protein and vegetables. Thiessen reprised her Saved by the Bell role in 2020 in the show’s reboot.
Chrissy Metz – 100 Lbs – Eating Fewer Calories & Exercising
Most of us know Chrissy Metz from the riveting show This Is Us. Much like her character on the show who struggles to lose her extra pounds, Metz went through the same battle in real life even before the show.
For the sake of her health, she started consuming fewer calories and walking each day for 20 minutes. Even though her character on the show was on a mostly unsuccessful journey to shed off weight, it wasn’t part of her contract to lose weight. She expressed that she was willing to go the full yard if the storyline went in that direction, and she managed to lose 100 lbs.
Melissa McCarthy – 75 Lbs – Diet Supplements & Exercising
Melissa McCarthy is another celebrity who has openly shared the ups and downs of her struggles with weight loss. She didn’t stress herself out at the start but she knew that she wanted to prioritize leading a healthier lifestyle.
She explained that the biggest lesson she learned from the process is the fact that the number on the scale shouldn’t matter too much. She used diet supplements, ate better, and became more active to shed excess weight. She’s now 75 lbs and she even launched a clothing line. She was motivated by her personal experience when designers weren’t willing to dress her for red carpet events.
