Bill Russell – $10 Million

Bill Russell is yet another player on this list who stuck to one team throughout his whole NBA career. He played for the Boston Celtics and won a total of eleven NBA Championships. He got awarded the NBA Most Valuable Player award five times in his career.

During the last two years that he played for the Celtics, he was also their coach. He later coached the Seattle SuperSonics and the Sacramento Kings as well. His paychecks from coaching must’ve been sizeable because he’s worth $10 million today. In 2019, Russell received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
