Revive Your Blunt Scissors

What can you do with those pieces of foil lying around and ready to be disposed of? Sharpen your scissors with them. Aluminum foil is a good sharpening material and with this simple method, your scissors can be as good as new. You can use heavy-duty foil or the common thin ones.

All you need do is smoothen out the foil if necessary, fold it and use the scissors to cut it into several pieces. Also, cut them into smaller pieces and after a few passes, the blades of your scissors will be sharp again. Pretty cool, huh?
