June Brown, Age 93 – EastEnders

Looking at June Brown, the name Dot immediately comes to mind. It is unsurprising, however, knowing how long she’s been portraying that character for. The first episode she ever played on EastEnders aired in 1985. Today, so many years later, she is still at it!

June is now 93 years old, yet still plays on the show. So far, she has been in over 2,300 episodes, being one of the cast’s oldest characters! In fairness, she’s played in many other projects too, even in Doctor Who in the ‘70s! In 2020, Brown also participated in the Soho Is… documentary.
