Paying It Forward
After a decade on “Friends,” Matthew embraced the opportunity to extend a helping hand to those facing struggles similar to his own. His personal battle with addiction, akin to a full-time endeavor, fueled his desire to make a positive impact on others’ lives.
In 2013, leveraging his experiences for a greater cause, he founded Perry House. This Malibu-based wellness center is dedicated to aiding men grappling with various forms of addiction. Simultaneously, Matthew continued to rejuvenate his acting career with fresh roles in films like “Numb” and “Birds of America,” as well as in the short-lived TV series “Mr. Sunshine.”
