Catherine Cortez Masto & Paul Masto – Together Since (Unknown)
With Catherine Marie Cortez Masto representing the state, Nevada is in great hands. She holds the record as the first woman of Latin descent to be elected to the Senate. A legal professional, Cortez worked in Las Vegas for four years as a civil law practitioner and as a criminal prosecutor for two years.
She replaced George Chanos as the Nevada Attorney General in 2006 and held the office for two terms. Las Vegas is what she calls home together with her husband, retired Special Agent Paul Masto of the U.S. Secret Service.
