Dolores Hart, Age 82 –  God Is The Bigger Elvis

Dolores Hart was born into the acting profession, with both her parents, Bert and Harriett Hicks, working as actors. So she naturally got into the game and made her debut in a Film called Loving You, alongside fellow first-time leading man, Elvis Presley. She went on to make ten movies in five years.

But then, with her leading-lady status on the rise, Hart shocked the film industry by retiring from acting and studying to become a nun. She joined the Abbey Of Regina Laudis Monastery, one of the first nun houses in the United States. She was the subject of an Oscar-nominated documentary called God Is The Bigger Elvis.
