Her career post-Olympics picked up as she came out with the video 30 seconds to Mars, signed an endorsement deal with Adidas, and also became a judge of a Miss America pageant. She even decided to release her first single in 2017.
Gabby Douglas – Artistic Gymnastics
Gabby Douglas is a retired American artistic gymnast who became an all-around champion in 2012 and also became the 2015 World all-around silver medalist. She was part of the gold-medal-winning gymnast team in 2012 and the 2016 Summer Olympics and the media used the term, Fierce Five and the Final Five to describe them.
She was also a member of the gold-winning American teams at the 2011 and the 2015 World Championships respectively.
No doubt Douglas is talented, she is also natural beauty which helped her hop onto the TV bandwagon after she quit her first profession as a sportswoman. She also took to the pen and published a book about her life followed by her reality television show on Oxygen network, Douglas Family Gold.
Stephanie Rice – Swimming
Most Australians take to water much like a fish. The beautiful swimmer Stephanie Rice was someone who can be easily called one of the most prolific swimmers ever. Although she is retired now, (2014) she has caused a stir in 2008 as she won three medals in the 2008 Summer Olympics for Australia.
Rice also won the supreme honor of winning the Medal of the Order in Australia one of the most prestigious titles given to any person. She also made a splash as the winner of the show Apprentice Australia.
Even after retirement, Rice has still been in the minds of the people thanks to her beauty and her comely personality. We are sure we will see more of her on television entertaining us with her effortless charm.
Serena Williams – Tennis
Serena Williams is the number 1 female tennis player in the world. She truly has an impressive resume considering she has won the gold at the Olympics four times. Her prize money stands at a staggering $92.7 million accumulated over the years.
There is so much to her than just her status as one of the best female tennis players in the world. She is bold, and beautiful and has been part of numerous philanthropic activities that have only added to the numerous feathers in her crown.
She has also tried her hand at modeling becoming one of the most famous faces of prestigious brands. One of her most recognized philanthropic works is Black Lives Matter. Kudos to the woman for going beyond the conventional path.
Jennie Finch – Softball
Jennie has been widely regarded as one of the most famous softball players ever. The beautiful Jennie Finch retired in 2010 as she wanted to spend quality time with her family. Since retiring from the game she has shifted focus on the Sports Network Channel, ESPN and it certainly gave us one more reason to watch the channel.
As a softball player, she was the pitcher for the Arizona Wildcats and steered the U.S. national softball team to a convincing win at the 2004 Olympic Games, her team won the gold medal.
In 2016, she became the guest manager at the Bridgeport Bluefish, becoming only the first woman to don the hat of a coach on a professional baseball team.
