As Light As Bubbles
When you consider that almost half a million people visited Woodstock back in that sweet Summer of ’69, you’ll start to have a grasp of just how culturally significant the event was. About 450K hippies and teenagers from all over America gathered around the rural area of Bethel, New York.
Sitting alone in the grass, the young Jackie Barg is enjoying her place in history by peacefully blowing a couple of bubbles in the air. Luckily, a photographer was there to capture the moment; allowing us to take a glimpse at the festival’s atmosphere 50 years later.
