Puppets, Toddlers, And Newborn Babies

Woodstock was all about rock & roll music, and you just couldn’t ignore some of the big names in the festival’s line-up. But there was so much more going on! Bethel was flooded by artists, outsiders, performers, and all kinds of people coming from all kinds of places.

Take this puppet show, for instance. This was an improvised alternative to the main stage that made the delight of the many small children at the festival’s site. Amidst all the Woodstock chaos, there were hundreds of toddlers with their parents, and the history books even mention that two babies were born during the festival!
