Veteran Earning a Reputation among Servers

This customer was a veteran named Walter ‘Buck’ Swords. The 89-year-old loved eating at the Brownsville eatery so much that he dined every day. Unlike Mr. Doug, many employees weren’t fond of serving him for his reputation of being a difficult customer.

Everyone had an idea of how hard it was to serve him, and Salazar was tasked to wait at his table when she was still new. One could say that it was a baptism of fire and because her coworkers already informed her of his ways, she understandably became nervous as she approached the man.
