Training during the First Week

The server was Melina Salazar, a server at Luby’s in Texas for more than seven years. Being a waitress for a long time, she already knew that not all customers are the same. Some are ill-tempered, while others are a delight to serve. Nonetheless, the lady still wore a smile on her face when she waited tables.

When she was first hired, she had to learn the ropes in service. By her first week, she already learned some tricks and also observed regularities. Salazar also noticed that there was a particular regular diner who developed an image among her coworkers.
