Name Doppelgangers

One shouldn’t mess with a person’s name! It’s funny, but people can get pretty touchy about it. After all, it’s your unique identity in this big, wide world. This person found another social media user with a similar name and felt compelled to reach out and ask what was up. Maybe they thought their name was personal property that no one else could share.

For most folks, such a discovery is usually considered a happy incident. As for the rest, no one’s going to change it on their birth certificate to differentiate it from yours. It’s best to accept that there can be, and are, multiple people with similar names.
