By the Each, the Bananas Are

Language barriers aren’t just for non-native speakers. Even fluent English speakers can struggle to find the right words while expressing their thoughts. Just ask the grocery store clerk who created this amusing sign. They intended to display the price per unit, but instead, they wrote: Bananas by the each.

Maybe they had a long day or didn’t have any energy to compose a coherent label. Whatever the reason, the result turned out hilarious. Even if the management didn’t like the titles written in sloppy English, the customers had a good time laughing about the employee’s honest blunder. Who knew grocery shopping could be so entertaining?
