Barry Sanders – Age 54

Football great Barry Sanders had an illustrious career in the ‘NFL,’ but it was not always easy for him when he was starting out. When he was in high school, Barry was shorter than the average players’ height, so he did not always get the playing time he deserved.

This did not discourage Barry, and he earned a football scholarship to Oklahoma State University. Barry went on to play ten seasons with the ‘Detroit Lions’, and his impressive performance earned him a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In the latest, Sanders was included in the ‘Made For Lions Watching’ campaign sponsored by ‘Pepsi.’
