The Rescue Team
The organizing authorities of the Woodstock event expected approximately 200,000 people, and they made arrangements accordingly. To their surprise, half a million showed up, which only meant one thing – a shortage of food and water. Luckily, the ground was extensive enough to encapsulate everyone; otherwise, it could have been a tragic festival instead of a happy one!
Help arrived as army officers hovered over the field in their helicopters, dropping the essentials for attendees. Here’s a picture of military men ticking their checklist at the end of the distribution, and a family and their pet dog enjoying milk and bread!
