Better Late Than Never
The Grateful Dead – A band that ruled over in the ’60s for their happening country, jazz, and rock ‘n’ roll music – could have also rocked the Woodstock festival, but things did not go as per plan!
Unpredictable weather conditions had flooded the main stage with rainwater and, on top of that, Owsley Stanley a.k.a. “Bear” – their electrical engineer had to fix all those heavy instruments on the stage itself. It did not just delay the band’s performance but also exposed the members to electric shocks. Looking at the photograph, you might feel that the singer probably got electrified, but luckily, no one got hurt!
