Ingrid Bergman – 67 – Breast Cancer

An international star best remembered in the U.S. for her parts in Casablanca as Ilsa Lund and Alfred Hitchcock’s Notorious as Alicia Huberman, Ingrid Bergman was born and raised in Sweden. Bergman, who found herself at the center of a scandal after becoming pregnant by director Roberto Rossellini while married to another man, nevertheless sustained an acting career until the late ’70s. She died at age 67 of breast cancer. Her legacy lives on in daughter Isabella Rossellini, who is also an actor. Bergman had a net worth of $20 million.
