Michael Clarke Duncan – 54 – Heart Attack

While trying to break through in Hollywood, Michael Clarke Duncan spent part of his adulthood making money as a personal security guard for Will Smith and the Notorious B.I.G., among others. However, after B.I.G’s death, Duncan decided he needed to change his career and turned to acting. He was in Armageddon in 1997 and in a career-making role in the Stephen King adaptation The Green Mile in 1999. After a string of comedies and action movies, Duncan died unexpectedly at age 54 of a heart attack.
