Company’s Support for Veterans

Watson Joe similarly believed that Arby’s didn’t have to seek publicity in making such a gesture. He questioned the company’s need to announce their move and pointed out that one should practice kindness out of pure intention and not because one wants their 15 minutes of fame.

However, it is worth mentioning that even before Mr. Doug came into the picture, the company expressed support for veterans. Apart from the afore-mentioned 2016 promotion, Arby’s gave retired and active military service members a free roast beef sandwich in 2012 to celebrate Veterans Day.
