Nearing a hundred years old, one reporter quipped about how Mr. Doug should live for more than a decade to enjoy his lifetime’s supply of roast beef sandwiches at Arby’s. The veteran laughed at the joke and wished that he could get the most out of the exclusive offer.

We only wish that he still gets to gobble on hundreds, if not thousands, of sandwiches. Despite this story being a rare one, it pays to underline the importance of giving back to our heroes, who risked their lives in serving the country.
